We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools within our Ashby recruitment platform to assist with certain aspects of our hiring process. We are committed to transparency about how these tools are used and ensuring all final decisions remain under human control.
Application Review Assistance: AI may help evaluate your application against specific job criteria we have defined, providing our team with an initial assessment to support their review process.
Communication Support: AI may assist in drafting personalised outreach emails or organising candidate responses to help our team manage communications more effectively.
Data Organization: AI may help our team search and filter candidate information using natural language queries and automatically categorise email responses.
Feedback Summaries: AI may create summaries of interview feedback to support our team's discussions during the candidate review process.
Human decision-making: All hiring decisions are made by human team members. AI tools provide assistance only and never make decisions about your application.
Human oversight: Our recruitment team reviews all AI-generated outputs before they are used in any way that affects your application.
No automated decision-making: We do not use AI for automated decision-making that would significantly affect you without human involvement.
We process your data using AI tools based on our legitimate interest in conducting efficient and effective recruitment processes, while ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your rights and interests.
Right to be informed: We will notify you when AI tools are used in processing your application.
Right to opt out: You can choose to opt out of AI processing for your application at any time. This will not disadvantage your application - our team will process your application manually using the same evaluation criteria.
Right to human review: You can request that a human reviews any AI-assisted evaluation of your application.
